Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager - AD System Discovery - Skip the DNS Check

Hello!
We're experiencing a trouble with AD system discovery.
The thing is that since from the beginning of lockdown 70% of clients are connecting through CMG, so they're online from Internet.
DNS records of the most such clients don't exist anymore, so they can't be discovered through MECM.
Any thoughts?

There is no way to configure this. The best you can do is work around it by using AD Group Discovery.

What's the purpose of using system discovery though? Are you synchronizing attributes from AD that are used in your collections or reports?

Hello!
Yes, you are right! We're using some of the AD attributes in reports

Could we try to cancel the attributes from AD to check the client could be found?

There's no work-around here today. I suggest you create (or up-vote if one already exists) an item on UserVoice for this.
