How to see Traffic Manager quota for an azure subscription through Azure portal and through azure sdk

I have increased the ATM profile limit quota for an azure subscription. How can I check the current limit/quota for ATM for an azure subscription?

Hi, You can write a script to check the number of profiles in your subscription and check if it reaches the limit periodically. But there is no alerts on checking the quota that I am aware of. You can use this command "Get-AzTrafficManagerProfile" and put it in a variable and count the profiles in a specific subscription. Then when you have the number, just compare it with >190 and trigger an email. Please check below for Traffic manager limits

but there are some subscriptions for which the ATM profile limt has been increased to more than 200. The issue is how can we get them in code?

You can have a azure SDK based on any language like python check below , or you can write in any language to do so below is ref. using powershell

# Initialize SubscriptionClient
subscription_client = SubscriptionClient(credential)
# Get the list of subscriptions
subscriptions = subscription_client.subscriptions.list()
for subscription in subscriptions:
    print(f"Subscription ID: {subscription.subscription_id}")
    subscription_limits = subscription_client.subscription_usage.get(subscription.subscription_id)
    print(f"ATM Profile Limit: {subscription_limits.max_number_of_traffic_manager_profiles}")
# Import the Az module
Import-Module Az
# Authenticate with Azure
Connect-AzAccount
# Get the list of subscriptions
$subscriptions = Get-AzSubscription
foreach ($subscription in $subscriptions) {
    Write-Output "Subscription ID: $($subscription.Id)"
    
    # Retrieve subscription limits
    $subscriptionLimits = Get-AzSubscriptionUsage -SubscriptionId $subscription.Id
    Write-Output "ATM Profile Limit: $($subscriptionLimits.MaxNumberOfTrafficManagerProfiles)"

I understand that you would like to programmatically get the Maximum Quota limit of Azure Traffic Manager.

As of today, this is not feasible.

The same applies to other Non-regional Resources such as AFD and CDN.

If you feel this feature is required, you may vote in Azure Feedback Hub forum requesting this feature.
