Seeking Assistance with Re-provisioning Devices via Windows Autopilot Without Reset

Hello everyone,

I'm reaching out to the community for support with a specific issue we've encountered during our Intune enrollment process. We have successfully rolled out the Surface devices using Windows Autopilot provisioning, which usually works without any hiccups. However, we've hit a snag with two of our devices where Windows Autopilot provisioning was inadvertently disabled.

Despite this setback, we've been able to install applications through the Company Portal on these non-compliant devices. Nevertheless, these devices are still marked as non-compliant within the Intune admin center. Our main goal is to find a way to re-provision these devices using Windows Autopilot without having to resort to a reset.

    There are 3 different reset options, but anyway if you want to re-provision, you need to use them. Or re-install clean Win11 from USB media.

    I would focus on the root cause, why devices are not compliant, you can dig down to monitoring and see the root cause. I've seen some bugs around compliance setting matching the real situation and I sometime had to lower the compliance requirement to match the hardware on-field.
