Can't access test lab

When I login to the Virtual Machine to do the test lab for "Exercise: Navigate the finance and operations apps", the browser window opens, but it says that it can't connect to the site because it's not secure. How do I proceed with the lab? I do have access to our company's F&O training environment, is it okay if I just use that?

Thanks,

Ed

    Hi Edward Eck,

Thank you for asking this question on the Microsoft Q&A Platform.

From your query, it seems you're facing issues while trying to access the lab client simulator. To fix the "The connection for this site is not secure" error in the virtual machine, you may need to examine various aspects.

    1. Make sure you're visiting the website using HTTPS instead of HTTP, as URLs starting with "http://" are not secure.
    2. Check if you have the necessary permissions to access the lab client simulator. Access might be restricted to specific users or roles, so ensure you're logged in with the correct account.
    3. Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, then refresh the page and try accessing the lab client simulator again. This can solve temporary access problems.
    4. Sometimes, using a different web browser can help if there are browser-specific issues. Try accessing the lab client simulator using another browser to see if the problem persists.
    5. If you're on a corporate or institutional network, network restrictions or firewalls might be causing access issues. Talk to your network administrator to ensure that you have the necessary access permissions.

These steps are intended to offer alternative approaches to resolving the issue you are encountering.
