New Outlook Version - Spell Check Different in Subject Line and Body of Email

When I am typing an email in the new Outlook and I misspell a word in the subject line, it will show it is misspelled by underlining in red (same as the old version). The same holds true for the body of the email. The difference comes into play as to how you correct the misspelled word(s).

When I am in the subject line and want to correct a misspelled word, I have to right click on the word in order to get suggestions from the dropdown menu.

When I am in the body of the email and want to correct a misspelled word, I have to left click on the word in order to get suggestions from the dropdown menu.

Why the two different actions in the same email?

    Hi @Sandy Hays

    Welcome to our forum!

Please kindly understand that the current functional design of New Outlook is not perfect. To get this feature more quickly, I have found a post in feedback collection website, and you could vote for it. Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. You can also make suggestions on that website and hope Microsoft will notice this in the future. Thank you for your understanding and support.
