Select New Project, ASP.NET Web Application . I write a code and make my app. On local computer all work normaly. After this I want to publish my app. For this purpose I choose Publish - Folder . The contents of the publish files folder are as follows: When I post this content I always get an error message and the online app doesn't work. Some time ago I made similar applications, but with Visual Studio Pro 2013. Then the option was used New - Web site and the files to publish were: index.aspx, index.aspx.vb,Web.config . I already feel like I was wrong when I originally created the project. There was no such problem in the old version. It was easy there - New - Web site and done. Where can I be wrong?

And VS 2022 don't have ClockOnce function to publish:

Did you publish it to a local or network folder?

Please update your VS2022 to the latest version and refer to the document to publish your app to a folder.

Besides, you can open the Web.config file and add the line under the <system.web> tag:

<customErrors mode="Off"/>

I publish to local folder and after this via FTP to Internet.

And yes, I publish the project like in document.

I add the new line <customErrors mode="Off"/> and publish project again. I see this:
