PDF not causing window to open

Whenever I try to open a pdf through edge, It opens but windows does not pop up, it remains in taskbar. and i have to manually click on taskbar to open the window.
Please help it is very disturbing.... User's image

    Suggestions:

    Make sure MS Edge as the default browser.

    1. Launch Microsoft Edge.
    2. Click the three-dot menu icon at the top-right corner.
    3. Select “Settings” from the dropdown menu.
    4. Scroll down and click on “Site permissions”.
    5. Under “PDF documents,” toggle the switch to the “Always allow” option.
    6. Close the settings tab.
