Issue with locating templates on CAserver

I am running Windows Server 2012 R2 and trying to access the webpage http://localhost/certsrv/certrqxt.asp to request a certificate. However, when I try to select a certificate template, I get an error message saying that the CAserver cannot find any templates. Can someone please advise on how I can resolve this issue?
