Midi usb from a musical keyboard stopped being installed due to updates. Error is due to it being in the wrong class device should be in the Video class rather than misc. Reinstalled device driver from web site. Failed.

    Hello Bill Dodd,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Based on the information you provided, it seems that the device is being recognized as a miscellaneous device instead of a video device. This could be due to a compatibility issue with the latest updates. You can try to uninstall the updates installed recently and then if the issue persists.

If it does not work, I recommend that you contact the manufacturer of the device for further assistance. They may have a specific driver or firmware update that can resolve the issue. Additionally, you can try connecting the device to a different USB port or a different computer to see if the issue persists.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Daisy Zhou
