Hi Team, what access is required to access the content library objects of an AVS vsphere client? Provided cloudadmin role at vcenter level but unable to see the objects. Is AVS RBAC required for the same? TYIA.

    Hello @SujinaSJ-1789
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A platform.

To access the content library objects of an Azure VMware Solution (AVS) vSphere client, you need to have the appropriate permissions assigned to your user account.

The CloudAdmin role that you have assigned at the vCenter level should provide you with the necessary permissions to view and manage content library objects. However, if you are still unable to see the objects, you may need to check if the role has been assigned at the correct level.

Additionally, you may need to check if the content library objects have been shared with your user account. To do this, you can go to the "Content Libraries" tab in the vSphere Client and check if the content library has been shared with your user account.

Regarding your question about AVS RBAC, it is not required to access the content library objects of an AVS vSphere client. However, if you are using Azure Arc to manage your AVS private cloud, you may need to assign the appropriate Azure RBAC roles to your user account to manage the AVS resources through Azure.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.
