@GanSengLeng-8808, From your description, I know our issue is that we are unable to added a host in child domain. If there's any misunderstanding, feel free to let us know.

For our issue, we suggest to check the following information one by one:
1. Check nothing was installed on the Hyper-v server that might interfering with VMM. Like anti-malware application or others.See the following link:
https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/Lync/en-US/80d74d97-0448-4b70-98f7-e0db2fb18e43/there-were-no-computers-discovered-based-on-your-inputs?forum=virtualmachingmgrhyperv
2. Check the DNS. Try performing an nslookup on both the NetBIOS name and on the FQDN and make sure that the correct IP address is being resolved.
3. Check if the required ports like 80, 443, 5986 are opening on firewall.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/system-center/vmm/plan-ports-protocols?view=sc-vmm-2019
4. Make sure the Windows Remote Management (WS-Management) service is running on the Hyper-V host,
5. Check the clock skew on Host and VMM. Make sure the time is the same.

Please check the above information and if there's any update, feel free to let us know.

hi,

so sorry for late reply, we added the child domain hosts as untrusted domain, then able to add, not sure if that is correct.

@\GanSengLeng-8808, Thanks for the reply. I am glad that it is working. Could you let us know if the steps are tried are in the following link. Based as I know, if it is , it means we use certificate to do the authentication. In Trusted domain, the authentication can be done with Kerberos.
