Reporting MS Team issue feedback here for your investigation and report to MS Support.

I set up a 1-hr meeting for everyone today and all participants has left the room 1 hr ago already. However, it seems the meeting keeps going without any participant joining/rejoining there.

The meeting has ended since 4 April.Currently, the meeting shall not be utilized so no one joining the meeting room,but during the live meeting, I have re-joined the meeting several times to check any left participants but none.

Yesterday, MS team required to get updated and relaunch. As of now, I haven't encountered the same issue as last week meeting.

I believe the issue was sorted with an unknown root cause. I'd need your help to check the Meeting Settings: Some platforms have settings that allow meetings to continue until the host ends it manually. Make sure that the meeting is not set to keep going without an active participant.

Could you advise?

According to our tests, when the meeting end time has not arrived, the meeting will not end even if there are no participants in the meeting.

If you want to end the meeting before the end time, click the End meeting button in the upper right corner of the meeting instead of Leave.

I am referring to situations where, despite the scheduled conclusion time of the meeting being reached, the meeting persists without any participants remaining.

I have clearing the Teams cache and logging then update Team but still issue.Do you have settings on Team that I should config?

Sorry for misunderstanding your question before.

For meetings that have ended, the meeting remains in the calendar, which is expected behavior in Teams. This behavior is designed to help you click on the meeting to learn about the meeting's participant information, etc. after the meeting ends.

At this point, you can still enter the meeting through the Join button.

I am of the opinion that the 'Join' button ought to vanish once the meeting has ended, as this approach appears to be most logical. The rationale behind this suggestion is to prevent confusion, particularly when there is a subsequent meeting scheduled. Without the removal of the 'Join' button, it may become unclear which meeting should be joined.

You can view attendee reports by clicking on the meeting.

The Join button is still there, this is by design of Teams.To get this feature more quickly, you can send a feedback directly to Microsoft Feedback to add it in future updates.

Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.
