Hello,

is it safe to run the chkdsk c: command on an Exchange server?

If I understand correctly, chkdsk without /f is safe to run just to get a report?

Running the chkdsk command on an Exchange server requires caution, especially if the server is actively in use. Because the chkdsk command is used to check the file system on disk drives, and if problems are detected, it may attempt to fix them. May cause data corruption or loss

Running chkdsk without the/f parameter is usually safer because it only scans and does not fix any discovered issues, but it may still cause some interference.
