Hi Support,
I have an issue or QR code images being removed from emails.
I have investigated on my mail filtering systems, but I am failing to find where the rule is configured.
I am would like to know if anyone can help to point me where to look in Microsoft Defender, Exchange, Intune as this are the Microsoft product we are using in our environment.
I am implementing an MDM with manage engine plus and when I send the invite email to users for enrollment the QR CODE Image is being removed.
Please guide me on where to look for this.

Please kindly understand that the Outlook tag here we mainly focus on general issues about Outlook desktop client.
Do you mean the QR code won't show up on the Outlook client?
Will other images or links be displayed properly?
Are there any error messages or codes? If there are screenshots, please make sure to hide your private information.
Downloading image is generally off by default, so you can enable that. Also, are your clients using HTML or rich text? Plain text won't show the images.

Yes, the QR code is not showing on the outlook client, other links in the same email body are showing. The error says: "QR Code Image is removed" in the new outlook and outlook (PWA). In the normal outlook client the error read as: "The linked image cannot be displayed. The file may have been moved, renamed, or deleted. Verify that the link points to the correct file and location."

You can try clearing cookies and also verify your security software policies aren't removing it. Do they show up in OWA or other mail client?
@Shawn Collins I tried opening the email in Gmail and it shows the QR code due to that I assumed the QR is being removed somewhere in Office 365, I am looking for direction to where to look at make adjustment in Office 365. I have checked with all the security tools and could find anywhere that this is ruled. No one in my domain is able to see the code thus I believe this is configured centrally somewhere.
So that’s likely EOP which is part of defender. Check your anti-phishing, etc policies. QRs were blocked by MS by default.
@Shawn Collins This point to what I think is happening too. I have checked the policy and Rules on MS defender, I am still failing to pin point where QRs are seem to be blocked. Do you know specifically where I should look for the default setting, rule or policy by MS that blocks QRs?
It's in the Anti-phishing policies. You can review those and if you don't see it explicitly blocked, create a new policy that allows QR codes though. Another place to double check would be safe links.

I haven't find a solution on this yet. I am still trying to see where exactly in defender or exchange could this be configured by default.

According to my research, this also has something to do with the security settings of Internet Explorer. To resolve this problem, disable the Internet Explorer Security setting Do not save encrypted pages to disk.
In the event you are unable to disable the Do not save encrypted pages to disk option, it is being managed by Group Policy. Contact your system administrator to determine the appropriate configuration for this setting.
