Why would there be a difference in behavior in Edge between Windows 11 and Windows 10

Both Windows 10 and 11 are using Edge Version 123.0.2420.81
On Windows 10, Edge is not successfully opening an Application via custom URI. However, following the exact same steps on Windows 11, Edge is successfully opening the same application via custom URI.
Any ideas for why there are differences?

Could you tell us what the custom URI is? Any screenshot for "Edge not successfully opening the applicaiton on Windows 10"? Could you also make sure that the application is accessible from other browsers on Windows 10?
