Troubleshooting Synchronization Issues with mail and proxyAddresses Attributes in Microsoft Entra Connect

I have a problem synchronising the mail and proxyAddresses attributes from on-prem AD via Microsoft Entra Connect tool (Azure AD Connect) to Entra. The synchronisation is successful for all other attributes except for these two.

All settings and logs are displayed correctly. What's strange is that synchronising mail and proxyAddresses worked fine for a test user I recently created, but these attributes are not updated for some other existing users in our tenant (or users that existed a while ago). There are no errors or warnings about synchronising these attributes in Entra. In the synchronisation audit logs in the center, these attributes are also not shown as modified. Microsoft Health shows no problems as well. Troubleshoot Object Synchronisation tool also did not reveal any problems.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem or can suggest possible solutions?

    It might be due to a conflict, or the attribute being filtered out.
