Browswer auto-complete in modern SharePoint lists

In classic SharePoint, my browser would remember text that I had previously typed into fields and offer to auto-complete them. This was very helpful to one of our teams who frequently needs to fill in data in text fields.

When I change the list to a modern view, my browser no longer offers to autofill remembered items. What can I do about this? It's keeping us from using modern views.

    Hi @26328735,

Thank you for posting in this community.

Auto-complete in browsers relies on consistent HTML structures and field names. Changing classic view to modern view will alter these structures, it could impact auto-complete functionality.

So, we can't revert to the browser auto-complete of the classic view in the modern view. Modern view is not supported for browser auto-complete, if you want to use this feature please change back to classic view. But I'm afraid that if you change from modern view to classic view, you will lose all the autocomplete content you saved before.
