Azure Data Factory working slow : switch activity taking more than 10 mins to execute

Hi,
Azure Data Factory is working slowly, it is not able start the next activity not even queuing. Switch Activity is taking more than 10 mins to execute(earlier it was taking few seconds).

details:

  1. We are using Self Hosted IR
  2. Data Volume is low to medium
  3. Switch Activity simply for segregating and transitioning different sources based on lookup inputs.

Please look into it and let us know.

    What exactly switch activity is doing here? Could you please elaborate more on this?

    It seems Switch activity may performing some task which involves self hosted IR. Kindly check the server where selfhosted IR is running and see CPU usage details there and make sure that server is not heavy used by some other process.
