    Visual Studio for Mac is only supported until 8/31/2024. You should probably pick your replacement.

    anyway to use .net 8 with Visual Studio for Mac. check:

    Visual Studio > Preferences > Other > Preview Features > Use the . NET 8 SDK if installed (requires restart) checkbox
