I received the following email right after creating my Azure account and submitting a service quota increase request to use the VM that I need.

We’ve disabled your Azure subscriptionTo protect the security and privacy of your account, we perform routine audits of all Azure subscriptions. During one of these audits, we identified suspicious activity in your subscription that violates the Microsoft Acceptable Use Policy. We’ve disabled your subscription until the issue can be resolved. If you believe this is an error, please contact Azure support.

This happened to the first account I created and I opened a support request, but received a response as such

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Azure support. Sorry we were unable to verify your account information. Based on this, the earlier decision remains, and your account will stay closed.  Please understand that security checks like these are in place to protect the quality and integrity of the Azure service.

Thanks for understanding. Microsoft Customer Service and Support

I was unable to get any help as to how to reactivate my subscription, so I created a second account. However, the same thing happened.

Once again, I opened a support request but have received no directions on how I can reactivate my subscription. Could I please get some help with resolving this. This is completely blocking me from using Azure.

Thank you

    Hello, @Mikayla Gawarecki !

What should I do if my account is disabled?

It sounds like the issue here is that the Azure Security team detected suspicious activity and was unable to verify your account information (for example, requesting the number of resources a large business uses without a valid email address or phone number to confirm payment might be an example of this). Make sure that you check the email you used to create your subscription for additional information and create a support request if you feel there was an error (as this is the only way to recover a closed subscription--instructions are below on step 3).

    1. Check your email - For many violations of Terms of Service, you should receive an email sent to the address associated with your Azure subscription that provides additional information so that you can correct the violation. Check your email to see what action needs to be taken.
    2. Review the Terms of Service - Make sure that you review the Terms of Service so that you are aware of anything that may constitute a violation and take corrective action: Microsoft Azure Legal Information / Microsoft Azure Offer Details / Azure Terms of Service (you'll need to scroll down a bit)
    3. Create a support request - Violations are reviewed by our security team but if you feel that your case needs to be revisited, create a support ticket. You can do this either online or through the portal by searching for Help + support and clicking on Create a support request (Issue type: Subscription management / Problem type: Re-enable my subscription).

I hope this has been helpful! Your feedback is important so please take a moment to accept answers.

If you still have questions, please let us know what is needed in the comments so the question can be answered. Thank you for helping to improve Microsoft Q&A!
