Deployment best practice for SCCM with SQL AOAG.

Question

During SCCM installation with SQL AOAG getting multiple failures. Because of entering SQL listener at database information screen. There is no clear instruction or best practice guide here which can support here for design and deployments.

We came to know this document but not clearing how to install fresh SCCM primary site or new primary site under current hierarchy considering CAS in place with SQL AOA.

You only need a CAS if you have 150K+ devices. If you have that many devices you should contact your TAM for support.

Install CM on a single instance of SQL then change it over to the SQL AO group.
