is it possible to use sharepoint documents in azure openai studio for chat ?

Hello,

I'm currently using the "bring your own data" service from azure openai studio. I'd like to know :

1. if it's possible to connect a sharepoint to this service to search and discuss with sharepoint documents,
2. Is it possible to set up the ai search index with sharepoint data and then use the same index in azure openai with the bring your own data service?
3. if it's not possible, is there an alternative to chat with my sharepoint documents?

1. Yes, it’s possible to connect SharePoint to Azure OpenAI Studio. You can index documents from a SharePoint library with Azure Cognitive Search and then use an Azure OpenAI model to query the data. You can use Azure Functions to transfer files from SharePoint to Azure Blob Storage
2. Yes, you can set up an AI Search Index with SharePoint data. Azure AI Search provides a SharePoint indexer that can index documents stored in SharePoint document libraries for full text search. Once the data is indexed, you can use Azure OpenAI’s “bring your own data” service to chat with your data
