Hello,
You want to access this server through \the IP address of Win 2003 machine, right?
If this is the case, you may need to enable SMBv1 on Windows 10 to successfully access the Win 2003 machine.
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
From Win10 Pro I try to access an old 2003 server maintained because it contains an old application that cannot be updated and which is consulted occasionally for historical reasons.
From Explorer I call \LAN-IP-Address but the error appears
"Windows: Unable to access \LAN-IP-Address
with code 0x80004005
At this address the server responds to the Ping.
We have already connected to this working server several times in the past.
Today, what could be the cause of the problem?
