Hello everyone,

I'm a little bothered about an update whose Installer Approval (2/4) is blocking me.

Attached is a screenshot of the problem.

I don't understand what Installer (2/4) means, what is the definition? I attempted a status report but the information was not returned.

Should I refuse all old updates that are indicated such as: Updates replaced by this update?

Thanking you in advance,

Sincerely.

You have approved the update for 2 of the 4 possible 'update groups' that you have.

If you want that to go to 4/4, simply right click and approve for the other 2 groups. Another way is to approve to "All Computers" and then press CTRL+C to force the inheritance down (or choose by the menu - apply to all children) and then it will apply only to "All Computers" but also all groups underneath will be "inherited from parent"

See the approvals process of my guide.

    Hello,

According to your question related to WSUS, here are some tips:

    1. The Installer Approval(2/4) refers to the progress of the approval process. There are 4 stages:

    1/4: Not approved

    2/4 Instaler Approval

    3/4: Downloaded

    4/4 Installed

The next step suggestion is to review the udpates, if it stucks in the Installer Approval, you can decline unnecessary updates. When an update replaces older ones, the cumulative update will contain the content of previous ones. For updates marked as "replaced", approve the newer version and decline the older one.

    Best regards,

    Molly
