I am currently trying to deploy an Express Web App. I have attempted to do so via command line, the VsCode Azure App Service extension, and on the Azure WebSite. Upon all attempts, I receive the same error message: subscription 'xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx' is not allowed to create or update the serverfarm.
Hi, thanks for the response. I should have mentioned I have been trying to provision this App Service for a few hours already. Additionally, since posting this question, a peer on their own Azure for Students subscription attempted to deploy the same Web App and was met with the same error message; we both have the Owner role on our individual subscriptions.
I will retry in a few more hours and follow up with the result. In the meantime, could this be an issue with our subscriptions? I do not believe this could be the specific Web App we are trying to deploy, as I received the same error when attempting to deploy via the Azure WebSite, having not yet linked our project repository to the deployment.

Hi, I have now tried deploying in both the default region and 'brazilsouth', met with the same error. Is there a way to detect what regions are enabled/allowed for a specific subscription, if such a concept exists?
@LUCASLONEGROGURFINKEL-8430 as this issue is similar thread to the issue mentioned in the thread #1657059. I am marking this thread as duplicate of the other thread, and I would suggest you follow the latest discussion and suggested workaround in the other thread.
