    Hello,

According to the error message, please try sign out and sign into a new account.

    1. If it is a newly installed VS, please close all running VS instances and go to Visual Studio Installer > More > Repair VS.
    2. It also might be because your proxy server doesn't prompt for credentials for `http://go.microsoft.com` addresses, but it does so for *.visualStudio.microsoft.com addresses. For these servers, add the following URLs to an allowlist to unblock all sign-in scenarios in Visual Studio:

    *.windows.net

    *.microsoftonline.com

    *.visualstudio.microsoft.com

    *.microsoft.com

    *.live.com

We recommend that you remove the `http://go.microsoft.com` address from the allowlist. Removing the address allows the proxy authentication dialog to show up for both the `http://go.microsoft.com` address and the server endpoints when Visual Studio restarts.

    Best regards,

    Molly

    1. Open visual studio, then open File->Account Settings… dialog.
    2. Sign out and close your VS.
    3. Delete %localappdata%.IdentityService and %localappdata%\Microsoft\VSCommon\OnlineLicensing
    4. Start VS and sign in again

    Hello @Sánchez, Alberto,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Please also try to directly click Check for an updated license option to refresh the license.

If you didn’t set any proxy/VPN and there’s no limitation on your network, then please try to open Visual Studio Installer => click More => click Repair to repair Visual Studio, after that try to sign in VS again.

If this machine/network is controlled by your company, please kindly communicate with them(administrator, IT department) and double check the network connection and permission limitations.

    Best Regards,

    Tianyu
