Hello, using via SQL Server Management Studio "SQL Server Import and Export Wizard" can anyone provide step by steps (perhaps with screenshots?) on how to save an Import package and then create a SQL Agent job in scheduling it please?

I've tried both methods saving the SSIS package that it creates target as "SQL Server" and also tried as "File System"... created the SQL Agent job and ran both versions and get quite a few different security errors job failed.

Am kind of confused.

Also if I want to delete/clean up these stored SSIS packages where do they get saved/stored and how to remove them?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi @techresearch7777777,

Is there any error message for us to narrow down the issue? You may view the job history to check the log.

Also make sure that the account used to run the job has full access to your source and destination.

I run the agent job with the SQL Server Import and Export Wizard package failed when test and then gave the proxy account permission solved the issue.

    Regards,
