Open Command Prompt as administrator.
Type the following command and press Enter:
sfc /scannow
If SFC doesn't resolve the issue, DISM can repair the underlying Windows image that SFC relies on.
Open Command Prompt as administrator.
Type the following command and press Enter:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
- Outdated or faulty drivers can sometimes cause ntoskrnl.exe errors.
- Update all your device drivers, especially the graphics driver. You can use the manufacturer's website or Windows Update to get the latest drivers.
- Faulty RAM can also lead to ntoskrnl.exe errors.
- Run the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool to check for memory problems.
- Check for Disk error if any by using this command: chkdsk C: /f
- If none of the above works, try to Reset Windows. (Back up your data before proceeding.)
