I have a Windows 2012R2 server that will not show all the wireless connections available.

I have an air gapped Windows 2012R2 Server that Is never let on the local network and is used for testing purposes. I have installed the wireless role and installed a USB wireless RTL8188EU adapter. It will see a couple of access points, but not my WIFI6 access point. It has both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz setup, but the sarver will not pick it up. I need to figure this out so I can apply an app update from outside the air gapped group off of a NAS. Any Ideas as to why it will not pick it up? I have tried the USB adapter in other machines and it works just fine? Thanks for the help!
