When i am creating a host pool using my AD as the directory there is failure. Although when the host pool is created, session host are getting deployed after this.

i have a custom domain hosted in azure VM and synched with my azure AD(entra).

User are getting synched except my enterprise admin used to create the sync.

VNET is good and DC is in the subnet for which i am selecting my Azure VDI host pool.

Although when i am creating the host pool its not joining my on-prem ad server in one go.

Can you please share more details so that we can assist you better on this.

Can you RDP to the "failed" VM (using MSTSC from another VM) and manually join the VM to the domain?

Have you set DNS for the VNET to point to the DC for resolution? That is a commonly missed on new AD joined deployments.

Also, are you trying to set an OU for the computer accounts at time of provisioning? If so, try not setting an OU (as most often the actual required syntax is not followed).
