I’m running an Acer Nitro 5 AN-515 and i wanted to run a dual-boot with my main OS in the actual hard drive (Win11), and a bootable USB with a second OS. (Win10) And no matter how hard I try, I can’t manage to get the second drive to show up

To fix a USB flash drive loaded with Windows 10 not showing up in boot manager, you can try the following steps:

    1. Ensure that USB boot is enabled in BIOS. You may need to temporarily disable Secure Boot to do this.
    2. If you have installed two versions of Windows on the same PC but they don't both appear in the boot menu when you start your PC, you can manually add a Windows installation using Bcdboot. Open a command line and use Bcdboot to add the new operating system to the boot menu. For more information on how to do this, see the "Repairing a Windows partition on a dual-boot PC" section of the "Repair the boot menu on a dual-boot PC" article.
    3. If the PC does not boot, try inserting the drive into a different USB port. Avoid using USB hubs or cables, because they might not be detected during the boot sequence. Avoid USB 3.0 ports if the firmware does not contain native support for USB 3.0.

    Hello,

Here are few steps you need to follow in order to fix this issue:

Restart your laptop and press the F2(or others) key to enter the BIOS setup, then locate the boot section and make sure that the boot sequence starts with your USB drive.

If your BIOS has this feature, you should also enable ‘Legacy Boot’ along with disabling Secure Boot.

Sometimes certain USB ports or types aren’t recognized during the boot process. Simply switching the port. Or try the USB to another machine check if it could be work.

Meanwhile, a corrupted ISO file can be the cause. Redownload the Windows 10 ISO file from the official Microsoft website and repeat the process of creating a bootable USB. Make sure the bootable file is fine.

    Best Regards,

    Hania Lian
