Need help in deploying azure function app

I am trying to deploy a function app using arm template.

Application insights, function app and all necessary prerequisites are created but the code is not getting deployed although I have mentioned github link in application settings.json.

"WEBSITE_RUN_FROM_PACKAGE": "https://github.com/..."

How to fix this pls?

Specifically, the ARM template in the "zip-deploy-arm-github-workflow" folder is designed to deploy a Function App that uses a ZIP package to deploy the code.

I do not want user to provide github link, rather I want to understand

why doesnt the code from the zip file mentioned in the link (in my question's description) not work?

What changes do i need to do in my arm template to get this working?

I may have misunderstood this, but from the link you have provided
are you saying that,

This resource is responsible for deploying whatever URI is mentioned?

@Ashwin Venkatesha Thanks for getting back, I see these settings "WEBSITE_RUN_FROM_PACKAGE" accepts url as per this doc https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-functions/run-functions-from-deployment-package#enable-functions-to-run-from-a-package

It would be hard to identify the issue by seeing the single line "WEBSITE_RUN_FROM_PACKAGE": "https://github.com/...", could you please share me the complete template?

and the resource block uses zip deploy extension to deploy the code from git hub repro whose value is passed through the package url parameter.
