I HAVE BEEN EXPERTING THIS ERROR TO APPEAR EVERY LITTLE TIME FOR 1 AND A HALF YEAR. I REMOVE IT AND IT APPEARS AGAIN.

I use the latest version of Vs with c# and windows 11. I have reinstalled Vs.
Error:The "Document Highlights" feature is not available due to an internal error.

Thank you for taking time to post this issue in Microsoft Q&A forum.
I remember that there were some similar known issues reported before, such as RemoteSemanticClassificationService.GetClassificationsAsync:SyntaxTree is not part of the compilation, and this one.
As you are using the latest version of VS, it’s obvious that the issue you got might not be the same to those reported ones(maybe the error message is the same, but the detailed stack trace is different).
So, may I know if you have reported this issue on our Developer Community and attached the detailed stack trace? If so, could you share us the ticket link for better tracking and help?
BTW, does this issue appear if you try to run VS in safe mode(run
devenv /SafeModecommand inDeveloper Command Prompt for Visual Studio 2022)?
