2024-04-23T15:56:04.9366667+00:00 Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform. Thank you for reaching out & I hope you are doing well.
- Is this the entire error message?
- Was there a Session State present in the error message?
- When you say only you are facing this issue,
- Is the issue isolated to a single remote PC or is it reproducible with every remote PC?
- Is this issue happening with a single user or is it reproducible with every user?
- i.e., the above will help us isolate if this a user issue or device issue
- I would suggest you to download the VPN Configuration once again and import the file (not manually fill the configuration) into the Azure VPN Client App and try again.
- Your error seems to be related to a mismatch in ServerSecret
Cheers,
Kapil

2024-04-24T06:00:39.7266667+00:00 Hi @KapilAnanth-MSFT ,
Thank you for your quick response. As per the questions, here are the answers.
- The entire error message is "[Error] Dialing VPN connection vnet-cfx-connectivity, Status = Server did not respond properly to VPN Control Packets. Session State: Reset sent" as taken from the log file.
- For the issue, I out of 5 members of the team, I am the only one who experienced this kind of issue. Though they are located in a different region. Since this only happened to me, we could not reproduce it to other members.
I will try your suggestion on reinstalling the application. Thanks

2024-04-25T05:06:56.0366667+00:00 Sure, please let us know how it goes.
"Reset sent" is usually associated with a mismatch in ServerSecret.
Cheers,
Kapil

2024-04-30T13:42:00.7066667+00:00 Hi @KapilAnanth-MSFT , apologies for the delay in response. Had trouble contacting local IT representative to reinstall the application. I was able to reinstall the application but still encountering the same issue. The exact error message from before is what I am getting.

2024-04-30T17:57:21.5333333+00:00 As next steps, you can check the P2SDiagnosticLog from the Azure Portal.
You can filter with the IP address your client machine, to arrive at the logs specific to your connection.
Make sure Diagnostic logs for Azure VPN Gateway is enabled,
Cheers,
Kapil

They were able to run PS2DiagnosticLog but found no problem.
What will be our next step to locate the issue?

2024-05-03T04:17:21.33+00:00 Per the logs you shared, it looks like your login was successful.
Whatever is causing the issue, appears to be at the device end.
To troubleshoot further, we will need a specialized 1:1 session, where a support engineer can have a screen share session to pinpoint the issue. If you have a support plan you may file a support ticket, else please do let us know, we will try and help you get a one-time free technical support.
Cheers,
Kapil
