Microsoft Journal Problem with self deleting ink

I have been using microsoft journal for a couple months and a few weeks ago i got a problem that didnt exist before. My journal has a habbit of self deleting its ink. It would happen if it detects something like a dot, a cirlce, or a short line, and would delete it in an instant. I'm guessing it identifies them as a "writing error", and decided to delete them instead. I'm having such a hard time everytime i want to write a dot, or even a small circle. It seems the problem happens only in the journal, because the same problem doesn't exist in my onenote. I also can't seem to find the settings for this problem. Any help is appreciated.
