Was the ability to manage App roles through the UI removed recently?

We are using Microsoft Entra ID for customers (Preview) and it seems the ability to manage app roles through the Microsoft Entra UI was removed.

The documentation (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity-platform/howto-add-app-roles-in-apps) shows how to do this through the UI:

However this is no longer the case in through the App registration UI:

I understand this is a preview product and it can change without notice, but I want to know whether this feature will still be supported. I have used it in the past and I didn't need to edit the manifest to add app roles.

Thanks for reaching out and pointing this out.

I have checked internally with the product team and got to know that are making some changes in the backend due to which app role is currently not visible.

Team is working on it and will make that option available soon in the blade.

As a workaround, you can make changes in the manifest.
