How can I expose a database created through Azure App Service with the default virtual network configuration?

When creating an Azure App Service, if choosing the App Service + Database option, the database created will be available through a virtual network integration. However, I have the need to access the database externally, so how would I go about exposing those resources to a limited set of IPs?

Tutorial: Deploy an ASP.NET app to Azure with Azure SQL Database

Create a database in Azure SQL Database

Connect an ASP.NET app to SQL Database

Deploy the app to Azure

Update the data model and redeploy the app

And then you can create firewall rule at the server level as by default, a server only allows connections to its databases from Azure services, such as your Azure app. To connect to your database from outside of Azure, create a firewall rule at the server level.
