Shared mailbox sent items

We have a hybrid O365 environment. For shared mailboxes we are trying to configure it in such a way that the sent items from said shared mailbox, only save to the shared mailbox sent items and not that of the user who sent as the SM.

In the 365 console we have been able to turn on the feature 'copy items sent as this mailbox' So they are saving to the SM sent items, but we do NOT want them to also have a copy in the users sent items. Any ideas?

    Hi,

    Based on my experience, it is not feasible to achieve this requirement with build-in features.

    I tried to set up a rule to delete these emails in user’s sent items, in Outlook click File->Rules and Alerts->New Rules->Select a template__:Apply rule on message I send__->Select conditions :through the specified account ->Select Action__:move a copy to the specified folder__ and selet Deleted Items

    But this fails, the rule can only copy from sent items to deleted items, it doesn't delete them.
