I am creating a request form using Excel. I want to be able to allows users to select one of the options from the drop-down or fill in the necessary information.

  • Can I create a drop down that allows users to select from the list or fill in relevant information? Is there another method I could try?

Thanks,

Felicia B

Here is Microsoft's page on creating a dropdown on a worksheet:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/create-a-drop-down-list-7693307a-59ef-400a-b769-c5402dce407b

Usually, if you want to give users the option of entering information, you add an Other choice to the dropdown. Then you include a separate field for users to enter other information.
