At the moment, the error "Windows failed to start" appears, It also does not always turn on (the fans are spinning, but the monitor has a black screen, but the screen glows a little due to IPS technology, so we can conclude that it seems to freeze immediately when turned on, but there was one exception, it once I returned from the "freeze" after 5 minutes and showed the error described above again. Also, sometimes the HP logo with artifacts is shown at startup, sometimes a white stripe flashes from the bottom of the monitor at startup (everything is OK with the monitor) and I also tried to boot from a USB flash drive to restore Windows, but it still gives the error "Windows failed to start". Before the first such error, the computer froze when I was watching YouTube, then I turned it on for a long time(I did not turn on the first time, that is, the same thing happened that I described above) I write with the help of a translator, sorry if I did not explain it clearly

A potential hardware or software issue preventing Windows from starting properly.

    Check the Power supply, RAM.

If you have a Windows installation media (USB or DVD), you can try booting into it and using the Startup Repair option to fix potential boot problems.

    Hello,

The symptoms you describe, such as screen artifacts, issues starting up, and freezing even during a boot from USB stick. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you could try:

Test your memory: Use a memory testing tool like Memtest86 to check for any errors. Your symptoms could be due to faulty RAM.

Perform a hard drive check: Use the built-in Windows CHKDSK utility to check for any issues with your hard drive.

Check your graphics card: Screen artifacts often indicate an issue with the graphics card. If you have an integrated graphics card, try connecting the monitor to a different port or using a different cable. If you have a separate graphics card, try removing it and running the computer without it to see if that resolves the issue.

Reset BIOS/UEFI to default settings: Incorrect BIOS/UEFI settings can cause malfunctioning of your when booting. Power on your computer and during power on, press the key to open BIOS/UEFI settings (usually Del, F2, or F10) and reset to default.

    Best Regards,

    Hania Lian
