Hi @Ed Kuyper ,
Unfortunately, there’s no direct way to completely clone the Outlook configuration from one Mac to another without going through some setup process.
To transfer your Outlook configuration from an old Mac to a new one, you need to locate and transfer certain files and folders. Here’s how you can do it:
- Locate the Outlook Data Files:
- For Outlook 2016, the data files are stored in
~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/Outlook/Outlook 15 Profiles
folder. - For Outlook 2011, the data files are stored in
~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office
2011 Identities
.
- For Outlook 2016, the data files are stored in
- Transfer the Data Files:
- If your account is configured with Exchange or POP/IMAP mode (like Office 365, Outlook.com, Gmail) in the old Mac, you don’t need to migrate the Outlook for Mac data from the old Mac to the new one. Just configure your account in new Outlook for Mac, everything (emails, calendar events, contacts and tasks) will be synced/downloaded from the server.
- If your email account is locally stored, you can export your email messages, contacts, calendar items, tasks, and notes to a .olm file and then import to new Outlook 2016 for Mac.
