Can we upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 in VM?

We have Virtual Machine having Windows 10 . We require to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 inside a Virtual Machine. As Windows 10 will no longer be supported after October 2025.

    Thanks for contacting Microsoft Q&A platform.

    As of now, Azure does not support an in-place upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

    It is recommended that you create a new Virtual Machine using a fresh Marketplace image for Windows 11, that's optimized with the correct configuration settings.
