New Profile with email account

When I create a new profile in the control panel and then add an account, I keep being prompted to enter a password. I confirm that the password is correct and I can log in on the web version.

    Are you currently using a local user? It sounds like it was asking for your current local user's password. Does it say "Windows password" specifically?

    In order to verify your issue, could you please provide some detailed information?

    1. What detailed version of Outlook are you using? (File > Office Account > About Outlook)
    2. What type of account did you add? (Exchange/ IMAP/POP)
    3. Have you changed your password recently?

    According to my research, this issue can occur due to various reasons, here are a few things you could try:

    Enable the option to allow Office to connect to online services.

    Remove the cached credentials from Credential Manager.

    Repair an Office application
