    Hi jody le,

According to the provided screenshot as shown below, it seems you are experiencing difficulty creating a VM from the sandbox.

sandbox error To address this issue, please follow the troubleshooting steps outlined below:

Step 1: Sign out from all tabs in your current browser and clear the cache files. Then attempt to log in again using your Learn ID credentials.

Step 2: Sign out from your current browser session and try logging in again using an incognito window or private browsing mode.

Step 3: Switch to a different browser and attempt to log in again.

Step 4: Try logging in with a new personal Microsoft email account into the learn path using a completely different browser. If you do not have one, create a new free Microsoft account. Note that you need to sign in with a Microsoft account, such as Office 365 or Outlook.com, for sandbox access.

Step 5: If you are still unable to create a resource due to insufficient permissions in the sandbox subscription, we recommend signing up for an Azure free account through the provided link https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free and creating a sandbox environment there.

Please refer to the link below for guidance on running Microsoft Learn training exercises in your own subscription:

    Hi,

Your sandbox will expire automatically 1 hour after you activated it. Once expired, refresh (F5) the exercise page, click Verify to solve the puzzle, review permissions, etc., to Activate new sandbox.

The new sandbox will have fresh environment without the VM or any other resources you created previously.

Please click Accept Answer if the above was helpful. If something is unclear or you still need assistance, add a comment below with specific details, error message, screenshot(s), etc. and I will assist.

    Thanks.

To reconfigure the sandbox settings, simply refresh the exercise page and initiate a new sandbox by selecting the "Activate sandbox" button, as illustrated in the screenshot provided below:

SB1 Please find the screenshot as shown below after activation of a new sandbox:

SB4Following the activation of a new sandbox, you can proceed with the exercise outlined in the documentation within the one-hour timeframe.

Please be aware that there is a daily limit of 20 sandboxes, and new ones are only available on the following day. Furthermore, the sandbox is programmed to clean up resources upon completion of an exercise within a module. It is imperative to utilize the sandbox exclusively for training purposes on Microsoft Learn. Any other use is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent loss of sandbox access.
