Azure virtual desktop for Mac hangs and the OS auto restarts

Question

I am using Microsoft remote desktop app (Azure virtual desktop) version 10.9.6 (2188) on Mac. If I copy-paste some text (using Cmd+C and Cmd+V), or select "use all monitors" to use my multi monitor setup, my Mac just hangs, and reboots automatically after a while.

Is this a known issue?

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform and Thanks for reporting the issue to the AVD service tag

There isn't any known issue as such from the AVD side, this should not happen. Can you try to make sure that all drivers/OS are updated on your Mac and e.g. also, if you use Display Link, ensure that it is updated.
Also, the remote desktop app for mac version seems to be latest, did you install it from Mac Appstore?

Did you try to reinstall it and see if you experienced the same issue?

If this doesn't help, please collect the log files while reproducing the issues and we will need to get a support request logged with ADV technical support team to look at it.
