Hi All,

We have SCOM 2012 currently running in our environment which is monitoring Current windows server OS and Legacy Windows server OS as well.
Now we are planning to move from SCOM 2012 to SCOM 2022 using side by side migration approach, As per Microsoft Documentation, Monitoring of Legacy Windows Server OS ( Windows Server 2003 and 2008) is not supported in SCOM 2022, can anyone help on How can we monitor Legacy windows server on SCOM 2022.

Thanks

    Hi,

As you mentioned that SCOM 2022 does not officially support monitoring of legacy Windows Server OS (Windows Server 2003 and 2008).

You might consider use an older version of SCOM for legacy servers: You could potentially keep your SCOM 2012 environment running specifically for monitoring your legacy servers.
