The training content is for the student who need restriction free learning but when Open AI service training is restricted to have an enterprise level request, it is acting as a barrier for a person to learn about those services.

Why is there no free limited-edition access for the students?

    As per https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/legal/cognitive-services/openai/limited-access

"As part of Microsoft's commitment to responsible AI, we are designing and releasing Azure OpenAI Service with the intention of protecting the rights of individuals and society and fostering transparent human-computer interaction. For this reason, we currently limit the access and use of Azure OpenAI, including limiting access to the ability to modify content filters and/or abuse monitoring."

    Deepankar Greetings!

The training content is for the student who need restriction free learning but when Open AI service training is restricted to have an enterprise level request, it is acting as a barrier for a person to learn about those services. Why is there no free limited-edition access for the students?

As Marcin mentioned, access is restricted.

There was a restriction earlier on Free subscription and Azure For Students subscription plans and they were not allowing for Azure OpenAI use regardless of gating email and its enabled again with reduced quotas.

Since you are a student, while applying for access through **this form**you can try using your University/Collegiate emailID ( Do NOT use personal email address like hotmail, outlook and gmail).

Also, for updates about your onboarding request: Please add [maccount@microsoft.com] and [csgate@microsoft.com] to your Safe Senders list to ensure you receive all correspondence pertaining to your application, including the verification email from Microsoft Vetting Service. For questions about the application process, please contact our team at [csgate@microsoft.com]

I hope this helps. Do let me know if you have any further queries.
