Data Event Generation on change in entity

Hi Team ,

We are using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM to manage customers & products. I would like to know if CRM support data event , e.g. to to trigger event when there is change in entity ( Customer / Product etc )

If Yes , how external applications can consume this event?
