Backing up an Azure Tenancy.

Hi,

What is Microsoft recommendation, on backing up Microsoft Resource Groups and there items within the RG.

Items like, example app service plan, connection, network security group, and others.

What is Microsoft about backing up those items.

From the title of the post, I understand that you want to backup resource group and the resources within it. As of today, Azure Backup, does not support backup of resource groups. As an alternative, you accomplish this goal with the following options:

• Use Azure CLI to export a template
• Use Azure portal to export a template
• Or if you use terraform: AZTFY

Also, you can use Azure AD Exporter to do exports of your configuration and settings.

The Azure AD Exporter is a PowerShell module that allows you to export your Azure AD and Azure AD B2C configuration settings to local Json files.
