I understand that you are being charged for Microsoft Defender for Cloud service even though you are not using any Azure services.
If you are being charged for Microsoft Defender for Cloud service even though you are not using any Azure services, it might that you have a subscription that is still active.
But you can go to this section within defender for cloud and change the status to off for all the resources, so that they don't get onboarded/monitored by defender for cloud within your subscription.
